So do I. We will have to make a comment here about whether it was worth importing.

Can anyone confirm if this is region-free, as the UK versions usually are? As long as it's a Sony release, I think it should be unless there's something different about the German marketplace.

I found this one to be passable as a sit at home popcorn movie. Not stellar by any stretch of the imagination, At the end it's almost forgettable but I've seen worse in the Spiderman movie world.

I didn't really like all the cussing though, didn't seem necessary at all, just felt forced. Note that I'm not too bothered by it, but when my 10 year old is sitting there with me watching and they start tossing out all the profanity, it's sort of off putting.

    I'd give it a 2 out of 5.

    Well, I guess it's rated PG-13 for a reason. ;)

The German version doesn’t come out until February but I have one on order as well. I’ll try to remember to come back to post about it’s region status once I get it.

I saw it theatrically in IMAX 3D and I didn’t think it was a very energetic 3D presentation. There was nothing wrong with it but it didn’t have much by way of “wow” moments. I never regret seeing 3D versions but this one didn’t reinvent the wheel.

Per Terry's link above, it sounds like all versions are region-free. I already have one on pre-order as well.

I'm not sure any of the major studios bother with region coding anymore as long as they're releasing worldwide. It seems to be mostly the boutique labels who only license titles for certain regions.
